How Ezpoint Works
Bring your recorded history into one private travel workspace. Manage and back up your data, explore maps and photos, organize trips, plan future location days, and share only what you choose.
Step 1: Collect and Import Your History
Bring in location history from the Ezpoint mobile tracker, a mobile Google Timeline export, an NDJSON export, or a complete Ezpoint journal archive.
- Preview Google Timeline files before importing them
- Import all available history or choose a specific date range
- Use merge to add history without replacing existing location data
- Review the Upload Options Guide before using the destructive replace option
Step 2: Manage Files and Backups
Use Home and Files to add data, inspect coverage, download location exports, and protect your journal with restorable archives.
- See dataset date ranges and point counts
- Download complete or date-range location exports
- Create a journal archive containing selected notes, trips, visits, Day Logs, stories, lodging, profiles, and yearly plans
- Back up photos separately because image files are not included in journal archives
Step 3: Explore Maps and Photos
Move through recorded days and trips on the map, then manage visual memories in the separate Photo Library.
- Choose a day or date range and inspect the route timeline
- Show or hide visits, notes, activities, and photo layers
- Search, sort, caption, select, and delete images in Photo Library
- Map photo markers follow the visible date and map area; the Photo Library does not
Step 4: Organize Trips and Ask Travel AI
Confirm home bases, review detected trips, explore your Travel Graph, and ask questions grounded in your own travel data.
- Travel Graph includes Summary, Personality, and Trips views
- Saved Trips keeps imported and curated trip records together
- Travel AI shows data setup and completeness before answering
- Clickable dates in supported answers take you back to the map
Step 5: Report, Forecast, and Share
Review calculated state and country presence, plan future location days, and share only the travel periods you choose.
- Tax Reports show Days and Tax-days by state and country
- Location Forecast combines actual history with current and future plans
- Download printable PDFs for historical reports and yearly forecast calendars
- Create static map links or live shares that you can end at any time
